Child safety standards

MatchBuddy's child safety standards

MatchBuddy has a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page explains the standards that apply to our app, the behaviors we prohibit, how users can report safety concerns, and how to contact us about CSAM or CSAE compliance matters.

Zero tolerance

MatchBuddy prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming, trafficking, and any sexualized harm involving minors.

In-app reporting

Users can report fans and listings in-app, and can also block other users when a safety risk appears.

Safety review

Reported accounts, listings, and related activity may be reviewed, restricted, removed, or escalated based on risk and evidence.

  • Grooming, solicitation, coercion, sextortion, or attempts to exploit minors.
  • Using MatchBuddy to facilitate trafficking, abuse, exploitation, or unsafe meetings involving minors.

  • Any attempt to evade moderation, reporting, or law-enforcement compliance related to child safety.

Reporting and user safety tools

MatchBuddy provides in-app reporting tools for user profiles and listings, and also allows users to block other users when they encounter safety concerns. Reports may include category selection and supporting details for review.

Users, guardians, reviewers, or authorities can also contact us directly about child safety concerns at angelahad259@gmail.com.

Review, enforcement, and escalation

When we receive a credible child safety report, we may take actions such as:

  • Review user reports and available account, listing, and communication context.
  • Remove violating content or restrict access where appropriate.
  • Suspend or permanently ban accounts involved in child safety violations.
  • Preserve relevant information when needed for abuse prevention, compliance, or lawful reporting.
  • Report apparent CSAM or CSAE matters to relevant regional or national authorities where required.

If there is an immediate risk of harm, users should contact local emergency services or law enforcement in addition to reporting the issue through MatchBuddy.
