This Privacy Policy applies to MatchBuddy, including the MatchBuddy app, our app store listings, and related public web pages, including our support, privacy, and account-help pages. By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be handled as described here.

We may collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you use MatchBuddy and what permissions you grant:

• Account and identity details: email address, first name, last name, phone number, city, state, province, postal code, and other details you choose to add to your profile.
• Social profile details: information you provide through a social sign-in or linked social media profile, if you choose to use those features.
• Location information: GPS or approximate location data so we can help surface nearby fans, events, and hosts.
• Communications: messages, support requests, and emails you send to us or opt in to receive from us.
• Other information: any additional information you choose to provide to us through the app, forms, or support channels.

We use personal information to:

• create and manage user accounts;
• power fan discovery, listings, host approvals, and in-app communication;
• personalize app content and help match users by location, interests, and activity;
• send transactional emails, sign-in codes, product notices, and optional marketing communications;
• operate the service, respond to issues, and keep the app secure;
• process and support purchases, subscriptions, or paid features if offered; and
• comply with legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention, and safety obligations.

We do not use Google Analytics or similar analytics or tracking tools in the app at this time, and we do not access your contacts list or your camera or photo library as part of our current app experience.

If MatchBuddy offers paid products or services, purchases may be processed by an app store, payment processor, or another checkout provider we choose to use at that time. We generally do not need to store full payment card details ourselves in order to support those transactions.

We may share information with service providers and partners that help us operate MatchBuddy, including hosting, authentication, communications, fraud prevention, customer support, content delivery, and payment operations.

We may also disclose information:

• when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order;
• to protect the rights, safety, property, users, or integrity of MatchBuddy;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets; or
• with your consent or at your direction.

We do not state that we sell personal information for money, and we do not describe our current app setup as using cross-context behavioral advertising or analytics-based data sharing.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, our legal bases for processing may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect safety, or comply with applicable law.

MatchBuddy is based in Pakistan, and our vendors or technical providers may operate in other countries. Your information may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and limit unauthorized access.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California residents may have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, as well as the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Under CalOPPA, you can visit our privacy page at any time to review our practices. Our services do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because no uniform standard has been adopted.
